The sole-surviving Q Class, No. 30541, is the third visiting engine for our four day festival of steam, from September 19th-22nd, with thanks to The Maunsell Locomotive Society and the Bluebell Railway. The Q class was the last of Richard Maunsell's loco designs, for light goods/mixed traffic work. Only 20 were built between 1938/39, and they were classified by BR as 4F. Details of the locomotive can be found at http://www.maunsell.org.uk/pages/541.htm
30541 will appear alongside already confirmed No. 34092 City of Wells and Standard 4 No. 76017. Starring alongside the first-time visitors will be visiting 4144 and former resident No. 6960 Raveningham Hall, plus home-fleet locomotives 1450, 1501, 2857, 7714, 34027 Taw Valley, 43106 and 75069. Details of the event can be found at https://www.svr.co.uk/SEItem.aspx?a=100
